At Killurin Lodge, we love growing our own vegetables, tomatoes and fruit and you will see some of these on our breakfast buffet and of course the eggs come straight from our own hens in the garden. For our cooked breakfasts, if it's not from the garden, then we source our produce locally. We now include continental breakfast as part of our room rate, as we've found the growing trend is for a healthier option and most of our foreign visitors do not wish to eat a large cooked breakfast in the mornings. This helps to keep our room rates very reasonable and also minimizes waste. If you do like your full Irish in the morning, don't worry, it is still available at a small cost. Check out our sample breakfast menu, which aims to provide a wide choice .

Breakfast is normally served between 7.45am and 9.45am. However, some of our guests need to leave early to catch a ferry or an early flight. If necessary, a continental only breakfast is available in the dining room between 6.30 am and 7 am and a cooked breakfast is an option after 7am. Guests who need to leave earlier than 6.30am, can avail of our takeaway continental breakfast. Wherever possible, we do try to keep to normal breakfast hours to allow all our guests to get a good rest in the morning.

As Colin is gluten, wheat and dairy intolerant, the majority of our meals are suitable for people with coeliac disease. We usually have gluten free bread, cereals and almond or coconut milk available, but please let us know in advance so we can stock up. We are happy to cater for any dietary requirements.

For evening meals, if you wish you can cook a simple meal in our Patio Garden Kitchen available from May to September. During the winter, there is a microwave available in the dining room where you can heat a readymade meal and eat in the warmth while watching the television. Also, see under Attractions for food available locally.
